NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:





From 08.00hrs Thursday 1st June 2017 to 20.00hrs Friday 2nd June 2017

(24 Hour Closure)



Road to be closed:

Road from Kilmurry south towards Beal na Blath as far as the GAA pitch.



Road Numbers:

L-2004 and L-2003.



Alternative Route:

Northbound traffic for N22: Follow the R-585 north to Crookstown and onto the N22.

Southbound traffic for the R-585: From the N22, divert onto the R-590 at Crookstown and onto the R-585.



Local northbound traffic: Divert from the L2004 onto the L-6010 at Curraclough.  Continue onto the L-6011 until the junction with the L-2001 at Clodagh.  Follow the L-2001 west into Kilmurry.  This route also applies in reverse.  



This closure is to facilitate Road Resurfacing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:





Road Resurfacing – L2001 Clomacow Road, Kilmurry

From 08.00hrs Monday 29th May 2017 to 20.00hrs Wednesday 31st May 2017

(24 Hour Closure)



Road to be closed:

Road between Kilmurry and Crookstown via Clomacow



Road Number:

L-2001



Alternative Routes:

Crookstown to Kilmurry: Divert off the L-2001 onto the L-60011 at Clodagh.  At the junction with the L-2003 in Currabeha, follow the L-2003 north until it rejoins the L-2004 at Kilmurry.



Kilmurry to Crookstown:  Follow the L-2004 north to the N22 at Lissarda.  Take the N22 east to the junction with R-590 Stage Cross.  Follow the R-590 into Crookstown.



The same description applies in reverse for both routes.



This closure is to facilitate Road Resurfacing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that the following roads will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:



Construction of Cattle Underpass – L2783-0 Knockacorbally, Blarney

From 08.00hrs Monday 22nd May 2017 to 17.30hrs Friday 26th May 2017

(24 Hours Daily)



Road to be closed:

The L-2783-0 from its junction with the L-2784-0 at Curraghnalaght Cross Roads to its junction with the L-6836-0 at Ballygibbon.

Alternative Route:

From the junction of L-2783-0 / L-6836-0 at Ballygibbon, head north-west along the L-6836-0 for 1.5km to Ballynaraha Cross Roads and turn right onto the L-6837-0. Continue north-east along the L-6837-0 for 0.84km to the junction at L-2782-26 (Old Mallow Road). Turn right onto the L-2782-26 and head for 0.38km to join the L-2782-46 at Sluggary Cross Roads. Proceed along the L-2782-26 (Old Mallow Road) in a south-eastward direction for 2.08km and turn right onto L-2784 (Station Road). Continue in a south-westward direction along the L-2784 for 2km to reach the Curraghnalaght Cross Roads.



This alternative route is also applicable in reverse when travelling from Curraghnalaght Cross Roads to Ballygibbon



This closure is to facilitate Construction of Cattle Underpass.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cork County Council is considering under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, the closing to public traffic of the following road for the date and for the times stated:-



Installation of MV Electric Cable Infrastructure – L5531-0 Ballyhea

From 00.01 hrs Thursday 1st June 2017 to 24.00hrs Friday 28th July 2017

(24 Hour Closure)



Road to be closed:

L5531-0 between Ballyhea Cross and Ballyhea Level Crossing

Alternative Routes:

Traffic approaching the road closure from Garrane Cross Roads along the L-5532-0 should divert from Ardskeagh Cross Roads along the L5531-11 towards Gortacrank and continue into Charleville via the R515



Traffic approaching Ardskeagh Cross roads from Gortacrank along the L5531-11 should divert along the L5532-0 towards Garrane Cross Roads and take right along the L1327 towards Ballyhea village. At N20 go right and continue onto Ballyhea Cross where detour route is in place.



Traffic approaching the road closure from the N20 towards Ballyhea Cross Roads

should divert left or right at GAA Cross depending on destination.



Diversion will be signposted



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Installation of MV Electric Cable Infrastructure.



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Tuesday 16th May 2017 at 5pm.

Road to be closed:

The R634-12 (Breton Road and Dominic Collins Place) from its junction with the L-3807-57 (Quarry Road) at the roundabout to its junction with the L3824-0 (Dolphin’s Square)



Road Number:

R634-12 (Part).



Alternative Route:

At the roundabout continue on the R634-14 (Mill Road and Tallow Street), turn left onto the L3824-0 (Dolphin’s Square) to rejoin the R634-12 at New Catherine Street.



NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this proposed closure is to facilitate Installation of a new pipe as part of Youghal Main Drainage Project.



Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the closing of these roads, with the undersigned not later than Tuesday 16th May 2017 at 5pm.
