Each child will receive a basket and set of clues to help them gather the nuggets hidden around the garden. There will be lots of exploring in the Wilderness and Gardens with possibly some surprises along the way....and then a triumphant return to the Courtyard to claim their chocolate gift!   • Details: Pan Celtic International Festival 2017 returns to Carlow, Ireland from 18-22 April. The festival is a celebration of the cultural links between the nations of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall and the Isle of Man. We look forward to welcoming musicians and choirs, singers and dancers from the participating Celtic nations to share their language and culture in this family-friendly Easter event.   • Details: As a lasting legacy of the Carlow Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, this innovative and unique contemporary stained glass mural illustrates a Carlow narrative showing some key Carlow figures such as Micheál O’Hanrahan who grew up on Tullow Street and Nurse Margaret Kehoe from Leighlinbridge who lost her life on Easter Monday 1916, and tells of the role they played in 1916. Rich in symbolism the piece was created by Peadar Lamb, an artist working primarily in the medium of stained glass for over twenty years, using hand-made glass and a variety of techniques which have changed little over the centuries. Well worth a visit, Admission to the Museum as always is free! Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday 10.00am - 4.30pm
