Warning bogus tradesmen.Council tradesmen carry ID

Monaghan County Council have been informed that bogus tradesmen claiming to be Council tradesmen have tried to gain access to houses in the Smithborough area.

The men were in a white van with a ladder on the roof, they were looking to access the roof of houses in the area.

Tradesmen and other staff working in the community on behalf of Monaghan County Council carry ID.

Please be vigilant.  Should you observe this, we advise you to note down the van registration and contact the Gardaí. 05 2017

Club Leabhar Lenabh / The Baby Book Club meet this month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11.30am. Stories, songs & fun for children of pre-school age. Sign up at the desk or call 8905563.
