Alzheimer Society Visiting Donabate Library

Alzheimer Society Visiting Donabate Library

Hello

Fingal Libraries are delighted to have The Alzheimer Society of Ireland & their Mobile Information Bus visit Donabate Portrane Library on Thursday, 30th May 2019, from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness about Dementia, a health issue that will affect more and more people as the years pass and to support those already affected by dementia in Ireland.

Everyone is welcome to attend - no booking is required. 

The Mobile Information Bus will be parked in the car park, outside Donabate Library. The library is situated on the 1st floor in Donabate Portrane Community Leisure Centre, on the Portrane Road.

Town and Village Renewal Scheme

Town and Village Renewal Scheme

The 2019 is now launched.

The scheme is targeted at rural towns and villages with populations of less than 10,000. Applications can range from €20,000 to a maximum of €100,000. Funding of up to €200,000 will also be considered for a limited number of projects.

The Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from groups who have a suitable project for consideration.

All expressions of interest will be assessed after the closing date (based on the priorities in the Scheme Outline) and a maximum of 12 proposals will be selected for development into detailed applications which will be submitted to the Department. Groups should complete the Expression of Interest form and return to the Community Development Section no later than 5pm on Monday the 27th May 2019.
