In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulation 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating the upgrading of the Water Supply Scheme Watermain from Glenade Water Treatment Plant to Fertagh Storage Reservoir, notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council has made a decision to close the following public road--
Local Road LP 2097, from junction at Largydonnell Bridge R280/LP 2097, for a distance of 2.8 Km to Fertagh Reservoir.
The proposed closure of road is in respect of the following period--
Monday, 5th September, 2011 to Friday, 2nd December, 2011 (both dates inclusive).
The alternative routes are via R280 and Local Roads LS 6095 and LP 2097.
