TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75
ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12
Notice is hereby given that Roscommon County Council has decided to close to vehicular traffic, the road described hereunder for the period and the reason specified.
Road to be Closed: M6 Motorway, westbound carriageway, from Junction 13 Athlone (West) to Junction 14 Ballinasloe.
Period of Closure: Monday 9th July, 2012 to Friday 27th July, 2012
Alternative Routes: Traffic wishing to travel west on the M6 from Junction 13 Athlone (West) to Junction 14 Ballinasloe should use the R446 (Old N6).

Reason for Closure: To facilitate Pavement improvement Works.
Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
