TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12

Roscommon County Council has decided to close the road referred to hereunder for the period and the reason specified.

Road Closure No 1

Road to be Closed: N60 at Bellacagher Level Crossing between Roscommon and Ballymoe.

Period of Closure: From 7pm on Wednesday 13^th June, 2012 to 8am on Thursday 14^th June, 2012

Alternative Routes: Westbound traffic: Turn right off N60 at Rabradagh (Kelly’s Shop) via LP1635 to BallintoberVillage. Traffic for Castlerea should continue through Ballintober onto LP 1640, LP1618 and R377. Traffic for Ballymoe should turn left in Ballintober onto R367 and rejoin N60 at Drumatemple.

Eastbound Traffic: Turn left off N60 at Drumatemple via R367 for Ballintober Village. In Ballintober Village turn right onto LP1635 and rejoin the N60 at Rabradagh (Kelly’s Shop).

Reason for Closure: To facilitate Iarnrod Eireann in carrying out Level Crossing Upgrade at Bellacagher XM 104.
